oh god. look what i did! i cut and pasted an article and made a comment about bentleys and i was pegged a racist. that's fine. i'll go back to watching cribs.
|
of course, total bigot Tommy Mottola MARRIED Mariah Carey. Jackson is right when saying that racism exists in the recording industry, but where does racism NOT filter in? He shouldn't be irresponsible and point his finger at those that are innocent[like Mottola].

i don't really like most black people here in alabama. but i like some. most of them are fucking stupid and obnoxiously ignorant.
and goddamn i fucking hate michael jackson for so many fucking reasons. mainly for the beatles deal, but for christ sakes, he molests little boys, and now here he is complaining about racism. stupid fucker. |
Exploitative yes - Racist no.
But what would I know? I'm just a loveable 50's Rock 'n' Roll love machine! ------------------ http://www.fiftiesweb.com/fashion/fonzie.jpg |

I guess that's why he has sexual relations with people that has as a developed of a mentality as he does. |
Ok, you people can fucking stop with the Michael Jackson bashing, fucking racists. He has sold at least 3 times as many albums as the band that this website is based on, and he continues to be a major force well into his 40's now. Not to mention the fact that he owns an entire amusement park. And yes, he IS black. He has a skin condition that developed in the 80's that stops producing the pigment that makes your skin a darker color.
I don't understand why most people here are pro-music sharing, but as soon as a major artist discusses the atrocities caused by the record labels, you immediately take the side of the record labels. You are hypocrites. |

You're saying that you believe what Al Sharpton (a racist himself) and Johhny Cochrane are saying (has morals loose enough to keep a murderer out of prison). THAT MAKES YOU A FUCKING MORON, MORON. |

Second, blacks can't be racist. They make up less than 15% of our country, and way less than that outside the inner city. I don't think you, as a white person, can understand just how difficult it is to live as a minority. I think that your personal attack on me stems from your refusal to admit your own racism, but I don't think that it's all your fault. You probably have some redneck grandpa or dad with a 4th grade education who sits out on the porch with you and "splains" to you how bad black people are. |

Of course, Jackson's shitty record sales have nothing to do with the fact that he's been a freak for say... THE PAST 10 YEARS. He was accused of molesting a kid and PAID OFF THE PARENTS so they wouldn't take it to the cops. He made a video that was premiered on FOX where he beat up a car, unzipped his pants and simulated masturbation. He plays with monkeys and his friends are the outcasts and freaks of Hollywood. He's more out of touch with reality than people in comas. And you're defending him because... well I'm a racist idiot so I don't know. I'm far too dumb to understand your points. Sorry dude. I'm going to go suck on a car battery for thrills. [This message has been edited by Magic the Gathering (edited 07-07-2002).] |

Actually, I took this from Dictionary.com. He's right, you know... rac·ism Pronunciation Key (rszm) n. 1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. 2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race. 3. Does not apply to Blacks. ------------------ http://www.fiftiesweb.com/fashion/fonzie.jpg |

We used Bill Clinton's excellent work over 8 years to excuse his personal behavior, so why can't we use Jackson's unmatched career success to excuse HIS personal problems? We all have ghosts in our closet, man. I started out in this thread focusing on how Michael Jackson, the artist, is credible and correct in going after the record labels. That is the topic of this thread. 90% of the people in this thread seem intent on diverting the topic to how Jackson's personal life fits into this. Yet no one has an answer for my original question: If you hate record labels for taking down music-sharing companies, why do you take their side when Jackson talks about how they steal, cheat, and do much harm to artists? |
god michael jackson is weird.

You really have a thick skull, buddy. P.S. You really have no idea what you're saying about Nixon. P.P.S. Michael Jackson has more money than God. He's the last one who should be whining. P.P.P.S. I get erections that are slightly bent to the right. I think I'm going to see a doctor about it. |
