No problem...I really liked LOTR but I wasn't creaming my pants like all my friends were. I will definately be seeing the trilogy in the theatres though.

wtf was that shit about? I've watched it like 3 times and still haven't figured it out. I guess it might help if I watched it in whole and didn't fall asleep.

Yeah, I had this problem... my boyfriend and I went to see it in the theatre and both of us dozed off. Not even the sex scenes were appealing enough to keep us awake.

speakin of movies, I REALLY don't want to see and will not see the movie "Signs". Shit like that totally freaks me out along with horror movies that take place in mental hospitals.

I agree. I saw some movie in the theatre like last year. I'm pretty sure it had George Clooney in it but I can't find the name of it anywhere. But the beginning was George Clooney robbing a bank and then he got outside and his car wouldn't start, so he got busted. That one put me to sleep. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

in my opinion, traffic was a documentary. bleh. it had potential to be really good, but they just didn't grasp it. though it's been a while since i've seen it, so who knows.

I wasn't thrilled w/Pulp Fiction either

That is 'Out of Sight'. And I love that movie. It was directed by Steven Soderbergh, as was Traffic, so maybe it's Soderbergh movies you don't like.

Natural Born Killers was godawful.

I didn't love it, but I did enjoy it. It isn't hard at all to understand. I think the problem is that most people don't actively watch movies.

Most of the ones I saw at the time all blasted it, and called the director out of touch.

I also hated Life is Beautiful, that Bertoilini guy is too happy it's annoying.

And really, all of the good views were mostly there because the Terrence Malick hade made a couple really good movies in the past. Critics are like that. They're afraid to admit when someone with a good record fucks up.
