Who's Now? is a tournament between the top 32 active posters on Netphoria. What does it mean to be "NOW?" Being NOW is partially based on what they post on Netphoria, and what they do off the message board. Seeds are based solely on post count. Each matchup will have it's own thread so we can finally determine who's NOW!

In today's round 1 matchup in the Samsa Region, we have the seven seed Mariner mathing up against the second seeded DeviousJ.

DeviousJ is well known for his humor, his photoshop and computer skills, , and his musical ability. He keeps his personal life a somewhat closely guarded secret known only to the Illuminati. Mariner is a seafaring sort, known for his breathtaking photography, spending time out on the ice with his dog, his hot sister, and his travels across the United States (minus San Diego).

neither of them has posted in a while but i say mariner because i'm not as nutty about Lee as everyone else seems to be.

devious j is always gonna be one of the most "NOW" people on this board
hes almost universally loved. almost every other major figure on this board is incredibly polarizing and it's remarkable how he's liked by irredeemable scumbags like me and also the nice people on the board. unless he comes back he should lose in a later round, but allow me to get real for a momentl: mariner ain't around either.

DeviousJ loses on the "off-the-board" stuff because he's so private. Also he hardly posts anymore. Mariner posts whenever he can - the guy posts from boats at sea! That's NOW

i don't really know who to vote for. both are all-time greats but neither one is really NOW.

I think J was more NOW when he was around, thats not to say mariner wasn't NOW at some times either. decisions.
