ravenguy2000 02-11-2002 09:07 PM

and the rom page isn't working for me either.

Satanstick 02-11-2002 09:07 PM

THRILLHO 02-11-2002 09:27 PM

i really hate to be a prick, but what about playstation one emulation?
(your SNES battle one was extremely helpful. you're the only reliable source/guide for this stuff around!)

ravenguy2000 02-11-2002 09:28 PM

rom page still isn't working. must be my computer or something.

Elvis The Fat Years 02-11-2002 09:28 PM

witch emulator did u DLed?

Ghetto_Squirrel 02-11-2002 09:30 PM

I downloaded one a while ago, and it was really sluggish. Are the emulator and the ROMS better than the ones that were out there, say, eight months ago?

thanks, glad it's appreciated http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/biggrin.gif

I wrote a 'your guide' to psx before, but i'll try to sum it up quickly..

emulator= http://www.epsxe.com

the BIOS used to be athttp://www.geocities.com/epsxe/

but after visiting, it no longer exists, so i'm afraid that you'll have to search for it. It shouldn't be too difficult to find though. just type it into a search engine.

It's possible to download roms, but i haven't found them.
I just use CDs.

Very cool. I just got it and i'm playing Kart 64. The only thing that sucks is that the link to Paper Mario doesn't work.

You downloaded Mario Kart or Paper Mario? Mario Kart works just fine for me (although the control is certainly not the same without an analog stick). The Paper Mario link didn't work.

Mooney 02-11-2002 11:08 PM

i was right into N64 emulation back in like 99. i had mario 64 running at 30fps which is pretty much better than it ran on the actual console. i was impressed.

sorry, i was talking about Mario Kart. weird, because i get similar problems in Mario64. it's like i have extra outlining which is obviously not part of the game.

Ihaman 02-12-2002 12:16 AM

is there any way to do it w/o a 3-d accelerator?

there's a whole bunch of little graphical glitches, you just kinda have to ignore it i guess.

i think a 3d card is on the 'minimum requirements'.

As for the links on that rom page.
All the links work, but just at different times.
If you keep checking, they'll all work.

Andrew_Pakula 02-12-2002 02:40 PM

This is cool, I remember my friend got a N64 emulator on his computer like 2 years ago. I never really tried it myself however now that I have a better video card I think I'll give it a try and see if it works.

Elvis The Fat Years 02-12-2002 03:19 PM

is there a segaCD emulator out there???

Andrew_Pakula 02-12-2002 04:22 PM

Or what about a Sega Genesis one?

I don't recall ever seeing one.

wangcomputers 02-12-2002 05:37 PM

http://www.emurater.com/segaemu.shtml

you can get games on that same site..

I use "gens" but I think there are better ones.

Andrew_Pakula 02-12-2002 11:09 PM

I downloaded the Gens one and downloaded a bunch of old games I used to have, works great! Thanks http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/smile.gif

Mark LeDrew 02-12-2002 11:10 PM

Ok has anyone gotten the Paper Mario link to work yet? I have never played that game and I feel very bad about that.
