I totally agree with you.

Weed is the better drug. It's calming. It may warp one's perception of the world around them. Alcohol does the same, but people on weed are way more sensible about it, because it inflicts a slight sense of paranoia, therefore keeping them from doing stupid shit like getting into fights and driving.

one of my flatmates has that perception.

he somehow thinks his drunken violent behaviour is somehow more acceptable than my stoned submissive stupor

Well it is illegal. I'm just saying it's not all that impared. You just have to concentrate on driving and that's it. You can't let the mind wander. It's not like you're seeing six of everything with no depth perception and the inability to stand up straight, let alone use the motor skills necessary to operate a two ton piece of machinery. Your* biggest worry driving stoned is to not space out to "My Iron Lung" while driving (which I have done before).

I've also stopped AT a stoplight. Like right underneath it. I think I've shared that one already though.

*Additionally, your biggest worry typing stoned is to not make stupid grammatical mistakes that you make fun of consistently. Isn't that rediculous (sic)?

I'd probably go with Alcohol. To be honest I haven't had weed in almost 2 years, one day I looked around and saw the majority of my friends becoming major pot heads. They were all dropping out of school and going no where with their lives so I kind of decided I didn't want to be like that and just stuck with alcohol ever since.

Both have their strengths and weaknesses, I don't think it's really too fair to compare them like that.

Weed ownls alcohol. i've never thrown up from being high.

What I don't like about weed is the way it reverses the social current. Couple hits and you're looking for the nearest chair, couch, laughing at your own jokes while everyone else at the party tries to get with your girl but you're not sure if that's happening because everything seems so surprisingly chill so out of focus and even if it was happening you couldn't care less because you can't even get up to go to the restroom wait do I really have to go to the restroom I don't think so um yeah I have to go

Same thing with some of my friends. So I stopped for a couple weeks, and only did about 3 times that whole month and it cleared me up good. But a couple beers over a couple hours was often neccessary. Alcohol doesn't make me stupid, and since I never get riproaring drunk, I never throw up or have hangovers. But I like pot more, and a week ago I got some and smoked a few times over 4 days, and then woke up on the 5th day and was stupid again. this is two days after that and I'm fine again.

So in conclusion, if its something you're only doing a couple times a week, it doesn't matter which one though I'd go with weed. But if you're doing it everyday and you don't get violent, drive, or rape when you're drunk, then alcohol is probably better.

i prefer alcohol, but thats just me. i actually really enjoy a glass of good scotch, and the drunkeness thing is never an issue because my tolerance is so high. even when i do manage to get myself drunk (like really blasted) i dont get agressive or stupid or anything, at the absolute worse ill start raising my voice, not screaming obscenities or anything, just talking really loudly

weed doesnt do much for me either, i dunno, i thought it was sort of boring the times id tried it

Alcohol takes too long to kick in. If I want to forget where I am I have drink for like an hour.

perfect solution: smoke weed while drinking beer.
