I pretty much grew up in this place. Played all my youth, travel, and high school hockey here. Both my first real hockey game (when I was 5) and my last one (senior year of high school, state championship) were played here. Spent every day of the winter here, pretty much. Ahhh, it's home. This is a junior hockey team based in my hometown. They're the only American team in the QMJHL (the league that Sidney Crosby came from). They fight a lot...this is not abnormal at all.

Great idea for a thread, btw. My town is very small so anything that happens is just down the road from me and in my neighborhood. There is a huge clash between the rich white people that live here yearly and the rich white hippies that live here during the school year. For the most part we all get along real good though.

Haha this was awesome. Fox ran with this story, which was pretty much made up by a fake news outlet. The story about the sandwich was true, but everything else isn't. The quotes from the superintendent are fake, the things about the actions the school was taking are all fake...and Fox is getting sued over it!

I figured it was something sports related. I was hoping it was a countdown of some sort.
