dude! i know!!! so i got this from my grandma a long time ago and i had never seen one until my band started recording and we pulled it out. it happend to be trash day in my neighborhood which is this summer thing where everyone dumps trash they dont want and before the trucks pick it up you can just go around and take whatever you want. so we're driving back to start recording right? and what do we find? another fucking chord organ! whats weird about these things are theyre tuning is completely fucked up. they are in tune with eachother but not to any other instruments. its fuckin weird. http://photos-819.ak.facebook.com/ip...517819_714.jpg i dont have a picture of the one we got from the trash but its sweet and shocks you everytime you turn it on. |
i have borrowed them for recording, and yeah, you're right about their own weird tuning. i just tune the guitars and whatever else to the organ whenever i use them.

Shocks you with its sweet tones? |

no, to be honest it sounds terrible. well not completely terrible, but i dont like it for recording because it has this air generator thing that makes a lot of buzzing. i meant it legitimately shocks you with electricity when you turn the on knob. |
