That's really fucked up. I mean I understand that there's a certain stereotype that goes along with snobby rich girls who drive nice cars. But first of all, this wasn't her Porsche, this was her father's that she took the keys to behind his back. Granted, not the smartest thing in the world but we've all been punished as teenagers for one thing or another and you get pissed about it, try to get back at your parents - whatever.
But mainly that's fucked up for the fact that you can't choose the family you're born into. If your family is poor or middle class and can't afford nice, fancy cars so you have to drive a shitty car when you're a teenager - or no car at all...that's just how life is. Same thing vice versa - this girl was born into a family that had money. Also they said the father was a real estate agent...in California too I think right? Of course he's going to have a lot of money and of course he's going to want a fancy car - that's how agents show off how successful they are. It's not her fault that she was born into that...she could be a snobby bitch because of it or she could've been a decent human being. Either way, that's not for you to judge. In fact, you should be thankful that you had a car to drive at all...some people are born into families that don't have even the beat up 80s land yacht luxury and might say "serves her right" if your skull was ever mangled in an accident.
That being said, this whole story is fucked up. I couldn't imagine having to deal with something like that...
