Has anyone seen the hlaf hour infomercial for the motionless exercise DVD. It brings bullshit to levels I could never have dreamed of.

dean_r_koontz 01-09-2007 06:44 PM

karl konnor is a really shallow person, once you get to know him better

Geek USA 01-09-2007 06:45 PM

are you saying that i should stop being in love with him?

dean_r_koontz 01-09-2007 06:47 PM

i'm not really interested in people, just systems.

Geek USA 01-09-2007 06:48 PM

didn't you get homesick after being away for a week??

dean_r_koontz 01-09-2007 06:49 PM

that's just the company of my mother, i'm not talking to her. having company is apparently a very deep rooted biological need that i can't seem to get away from. otherwise i'm completely bored with people.

Effloresce 01-09-2007 07:24 PM

Blah blah blah. People need a fucking treadmill. You want healthy weight loss, that's what you do.

Nate the Grate 01-09-2007 07:30 PM

I woke up at 4 am the other day and watched TV for like half an hour. I think there were 3 channels that DIDN'T have an infomercial running. I was left scratching my head wondering who actually buys the crap they sell?

Effloresce 01-09-2007 07:45 PM

What do you think about that natural cures guy? He seems too sincere to be bullshitting, but I still don't know if he's always right. He probably is right about some things that have been rejected by the FDA, no doubt. But overall, I don't know.

:banging: Here here.

ravenguy2000 01-09-2007 08:39 PM

"The presentation is couched as get-together in Mick and Mimi's kitchen. As their friends slowly pile in from various parts of the house, they begin to express interest in the Magic Bullet. As a result, the get-together develops into a Tupperware-style presentation of the product.

Mick and Mimi allude to a huge barbecue they hosted at the house the night before. Presumably, this is why their friends are there. However, very few details about the party are given, except for the fact that Berman (the "party animal") has a hangover.

Over the course of the presentation, Mick and Mimi use the Magic Bullet to prepare many different meals, snacks, and drinks. Their friends are impressed by the machine's versatility and speed. Mick and Mimi even convince Berman, an avid broccoli hater, to drink a beverage made from fresh fruit and broccoli juices. He not only drinks it, but thoroughly enjoys it.

By the end of the presentation, the group of friends decide that the Magic Bullet is so useful that they, too, need one in their homes. Then, they decide to throw another party."

Oh... sorry if I came across that way.

All I'm saying is that cardio is a good way to lose extra body fat and therefore weight.
