i just got back from seeing 'babel'

i had a free pass to see 'the holiday' before it comes out this friday, but too many moochers meant they were full up.

i got the ticket from a co-worker and his girlfriend was there with some people. so, we all just went to the showing of babel.

it was a great movie, easily one of the best this year. :rock_on:

Last night I saw the Lake House and spent the whole time getting confused over the logistics of the story line which made absolutely no fucking sense and thus, I missed alot of the romantic banter bullshit between Neo and Gracie Hart... :erm:

Heh, yeah but the funny thing is, why did they have the bus crash so early in the film? I could see the way that was gonna pan out coming a mile away! The reason why I thought I'd watch this though is because I love Frequency. I loved it how it was actually coherent and it mixed genres - Lake House tried to do that but didn't do it at all well... However I loved the part when they take a walk together (but two years apart) and he leaves the message for her on the wall... It made me go all "AAAAWWWWWW...!" :p

yeah, there were some sweet parts of Lake House, but I haven't seen Frequency. I'll put it on my queue.
