agreed but sony has been claiming a vastly superior system in terms of graphic processing but these screen seem to prove them dead wrong and for that i think these pictures are a relevant judge for the system

when it is all said and done i'll probably have an xbox 360 and a wii in this generation

im camping out for wii this friday night or saturday morning in walmart...i camped out for the 360 in the snow in front of circuit city and it was a pain but i figure walmarts will be comfortable and dry


i forgot to mention it's 24 hours

i don't know if camping out for the wii is necessary....how many units are they shipping?

i doubt each walmarts will have more then 20-25 but since ps3 debuts friday morning with even less units i figured the wii will be in a much higher demand then most people believe

The graphics capabilities of the PS3 well beat the 360. You posted screenshots from one game, and most likely the port to PS3 was rushed in order to get it out in time. This is about the game itself, not the hardware.

if I was going to buy a system for someone would it be a ps3? is the ps3 compatible with other ps games? or do you have to buy new games for either system

Bottom line PS3 wont have many exclusive games over 360, while the graphics will be slightly better, the console price difference, let alone the difference in price of games wont be worth it. Blu-Ray is just Sony trying to start another proprietary format, which I cant think of any previous trash that they tried pushing actually succeeding. The benefits increase slightly in Sony's favor if the person has an HDTV, but even then, not by a whole lot. It might be worth it down the line if the PS3 dominates, and Blu-Ray takes off, but not right now.
