it was a hotly contested race, (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) and i thank everyone for their participation all the way to the end. there were some bumps along the way, but we dealt with them fairly.

i appreciate the kind words. thank you to those supporting me in this transition period, including daydreamer999 whom i never thought of as an opponent but rather a fellow voyager on this once-in-a-lifetime journey.

i'm not letting this go to my head, because, after all, not everyone agrees on what the nature of Ted really is; some will see it as an honor while others will say that being Ted is not something to which one should aspire. some would be insulted to receive the title of Ted.

i am certainly not insulted, but i am realistic. i know that i have allies and enemies alike on both sides of the voting line, and the race was amazingly close in the end.

so i accept the name Ted as neither blessing nor curse and claim it as neither an idol nor a fool; i can claim it only as myself, by which i mean Ted.

well i guess we'll let Ted weigh in on this.. my approach is very laissez-faire, aside from keeping the election polls on track

spunk so needs to use the word laissez-faire. there are endless possibilities.

i was particularly pleased with his miami shooting thread title today where he said "practive field"

that thread was part of what makes being spunk so easy.

i don't see why a ted, a Ted., and Ted cannot all coexist. let tcm be synonymous with Ted. if a moderator could and would change my custom title to Ted, that would be nice. but the people know who the true Ted is all the same.
