Snowcrash

got Chopper 1-3 in as well, doubt they'll be particularly high-brow reading, but they should be a laugh

Custer Died For Your Sins by Vine Deloria, Jr.

It's for a class but I'm enjoying it

murgle 10-22-2006 03:29 PM

I just finished all of the books by Kathy Reichs.. and now I'm out of books to read, so I'm just reading Harry Potter until I find another series to start

pink_ribbon_scars 10-22-2006 03:53 PM

I'm slowly making my way through Rolling Stone, Self and Domino magazines, Atonement by Ian McEwan, and Istanbul: Memories and the City by Orhan Pamuk.

I'm in the process of reading 'Interview With The Vampire'. I'm a slow reader, I like to take everything thing in and let it settle.

It's an incredible book, so well written. Quite possibly one of the best books I've read.

What class?

Someone from the here (I want to say tear stained glass, but I could be way off) recommended that book to me. It's been on my to-read list since.

christian zombie vampires 10-22-2006 11:48 PM

everything is illuminated. pretty incredible.
someone recommend me something. as in, tell me specifically why it would be worthwhile reading.

It's for a Native American Studies class. If you aren't already familiar with the realities of Native peoples' brush with the whites you could easily read it and think "What the hell is this guy so pissed off about?" It's a good book so far, but the author certainly doesn't hold his tongue.
