alisonmonster 09-16-2006 01:12 PM

the Borat one. I haven't looked forward this much to a movie in a long time.

sppunk 09-16-2006 01:13 PM

I read a bit about Borat and it does sound promising. Thanks, alisonmonster!

alisonmonster 09-16-2006 01:19 PM

apparantly Borat screened here at the Toronto Film Festival and there were massive lineups. Before the ending of the film, the projector screwed up and then Michael Moore (for some reason was there) tried to fix the projector, butr no one got to see the end of the film.

or just paying attention in general.

pale blue eyes 09-16-2006 04:25 PM

The only thing that comes to mind is the Running With Scissors adaptation. I saw a preview for it before Little Miss Sunshine and it looks like it might actually be pretty good.

MusicMan4 09-16-2006 04:30 PM

It's been out a while so you might be able to find it pretty cheap used.

blackfaerie 09-16-2006 04:35 PM

eh, i can borrow it for free through the library once they actually send it.

pale blue eyes 09-16-2006 04:40 PM

Your library must be much better than mine. I request something and you'd swear they had to specially print the thing themselves or something in the time it takes to come in. That plus the fifty or so bookstores near campus and my impatience gets the best of me if I'm really in the mood for something.

The new Bond flick.
TPB the movie.

Thinking way ahead:

Sweeney Todd, with Johnny Depp and Burton. It doesn't even start filming till February, but that should be interesting.

Shapan 09-17-2006 02:40 AM

borat and saw III.
