well it's official. ND is not a national title contender

sppunk 09-16-2006 03:39 PM

Ah, that's the Notre Dame we all know and love.

And TuralyonW3, they never were national title contenders. Nothing more than an overhyped two-or-three loss team.

wHATcOLOR 09-16-2006 03:51 PM

i like eulogy getting swept up in the frenzy of school spirit! who knows where the next wave of emotion will carry him!

let's hear it for the era of eulogy, the college years!!

Nate the Grate 09-16-2006 04:19 PM

this sucks

Stinky Pinky 09-16-2006 04:31 PM

this means that psu REALLY sucks

coffee spoon 09-16-2006 04:32 PM

as stated here 3 weeks ago, USC-Auburn will be your national title game.

TuralyonW3 09-16-2006 06:18 PM

they lost because of Eulogy's naivete

um. what?

5 turnovers. 25 yards for darius walker. no matter how good Michigan is, that is totally unacceptable. Michigan will get their asses handed to them by OSU. ND is either a 20-25 team, or they just played like absolute shit. This game said way, way more about ND than it did about Michigan. Fool.

You are dumb. Fool.

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 07:07 PM

And for the info, I wasn't really interested in this game in the first place. Auburn and LSU was way more interesting, and a defensive struggle. ANd OU v. Oregon was AWESOME. HOOK 'EM DUCKS.

wasn't that offside kick ref call horrible though? a duck touched the ball before it went 10 yards

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 07:17 PM

Sure was. What was even worse was the way the Sooners let the Ducks score that quick touchdown. Then I laughed when those dee dee dees playing for Oklahoma got their FG blocked.

coffee spoon 09-16-2006 07:30 PM

that's awesome that oklahoma lost.

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 07:32 PM

Bad call or no bad call there is no excuse for losing focus after the call, they got BURNED and they lost accordingly.

coffee spoon 09-16-2006 07:33 PM

anytime ou, texas, tech, or faggies lose is a joyous day in this house.

i'll probably get laid tonight since my girl is a ducks fan.

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 07:41 PM

Baylor is in the top 15 in 2016 on my college football dynasty. They have four prestige stars!

coffee spoon 09-16-2006 07:44 PM

they just lost another heartbreaker. my boss said they were going 8-4 this year. they are 2 fourth quarter meltdowns away from being 3-0 to start the year.

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 07:56 PM

That reminds me of Vandy this year. They've lost three in a row by about three points a piece, right?

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 07:58 PM

Sorry, just two games, but they played Michigan better than ND did. Heh.

Let's hope so. The SEC is for real this year as is the Pac-10. I think they may be the two best conferences this year and their champions deserve to play for the title.

sppunk 09-16-2006 08:43 PM

The SEC is the best conference, but I don't think the Pac-10 is greatly better than the Big 10. They're pretty similar to me.

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 08:45 PM

Colin always acts like the Pac-10 is something to crow about. Ugh god. I like my teams to play defense.

jczeroman 09-16-2006 08:46 PM

yes, I agree. They're even as of now. PSU loss and CAL's loss are both detriments to both leagues.

Notre Dame is better than they played today - looked kind of what happened to PSU against them actually. They just ran into a team that was unbeatable today.

Yeah, but Michigan's win today and Ohio State's demolishing of UT last week push the Big 10 pretty high. Oregon's win over Oklahoma is big, but it's the really only big Pac 10 win so far (not counting USC's likely win tonight).

Too bad Illinios plays in the Big 10 though, huh?

Trotskilicious 09-16-2006 08:58 PM

Don't forget Indiana and Northwestern.

By the way, the Big 12 sucks this year. BAD.

sppunk 09-16-2006 08:59 PM

Well, Illinois is one of the worst five football teams in 1A - Indiana and Northwestern aren't QUITE that bad this season.
