I'm happy because

-this Saturday is Buckethead
-I just found out I'll finally be getting the hair I ordered back in February and thought I got screwed on...and I get to change my order for free
-the week is half over
-I finished all the shitty work I had to do today
-I just found one of my old best best friends on myspace after searching for her for years (except now she's a boy)

So why are you happy?

got a new job w/ a substantial pay upgrade but more importantly full benefits
seeing vashti bunyan in nyc tomorrow
about to turn 23 and it's going to be the first birthday where i'll actually be able to say i'm doing something with my life :|

I'm happy because:

1. I work with mostly nice, good people. I spend most of my time there so that's good.

2. I have a good girlfriend who cares about me.

3. The Lips are tonight and they are going to play Race for the Prize.

4. I'm leaving work at 6:00 (EARLY!) to go drink and eat at a pub in downtown.

5. I get to cuddle and sleep w/ my g/f tonight.

6. Only two more work days till the end of the week.

7. Bengals/Browns on Sunday.

That's a thread I was waiting for.
 

I'm happy...

- because I finally found a great apartment, and I'm moving in there with a totally great friend of mine. This is a dream coming true I had for the past four years, and when I realized all this was true, I started being in a kind of dreamy mood - in fact I hadn't quite realized it at all.
No the dreamy feeling is wearing off, and I'm plainly... happy. A feeling I hadn't felt since my childhood.
Thanks a lot, post-puberty depressions, but I won't meet you again.

- because said apartment is less than three miles away from my girlfriend's new home.

- because I see a future in my life again. Again, a feeling I hadn't had in a very long time.

- because that apartment is in fucking Vienna, the only city worth living in in my country.

- because I'll work at a great new job. I'm going to start there at the 25th of this month.

- because this job plus my dad's monthly payments will allow me a real life. A life almost independent from my parents.

- because I just got off the phone with my girlfriend. And she's the greatest person I've ever had in my life.

- because I'm no slowly heading in my bed's direction. I haven't slept in almost 40 hours. And I'm totally feeling great.

I ended a 6.5 year relationship.
I met someone new who is pretty much everything ive ever wanted in a man.
I quit my job cause it sucked.
Im moving 5.5 hours away to get out of the city in about a week and a half with said guy.
Ive made alot of new friends which is bitter sweet because im moving but whatever.
Money is good.
Health is great.
Life is wonderful and slightly insane right now.

Maths? Tss. I won't ever have to worry about that again. - And yet thing that makes me happy.

But it's still nice you remembered. You know, the gesture is all that counts.
