Today I was given a Soviet hat
 

It's a Captain's hat from the USSR, or so I was told. The story goes that a friend of a family friend worked for the state department was in Russia some years ago and the soldiers were selling shit off their uniforms for food because they were paid so little. Anyway, she bought this Captain's hat I guess. And now it's mine. It's pretty cool. It looks like those...navy hats I guess? All I know is that the ROTC faggots from school have hats that look just like these except in different colors and without the hammer and sickle emblem on the front. This is green with a red band. I am quite fond of it already.
