i put my phone on silent/ turn it off when i go to bed, and hardly ever answer before i want to wake up.
that may be selfish of me, but atleast i didn't give up an hour of sleep because my roommate wanted to know the number to our apartment complesx. HAh i win! :smoke:

If somebody called me at 4:00 am, I'd at least see what they wanted. Perhaps they could be calling me saying they had one million dollars for me. For that reason alone I leave me phone turned on when I charge it. Also, at 4:00 a.m., I'm usually awake, so if somebody called at, say, 9:00 a.m., I'd still answer to see why they called.

i usually leave the phone on at night when it doesn't need a charge because a year or two ago i told somebody if they ever needed something i would do my best to be there 24/7. for that person (and a select few others) i still mean it.

in fact, the night before last, my friend todd called. he needed me to call this guy ian to tell him to call todd's girlfriend tiffany because she got todd kicked out of the bar they were at because she saw some guy she wanted to flirt with. so todd called me at 43o in the morning because she hadn't come home yet and wouldn't answer her phone. she has a thing for ian so he figured that if ian called, she would answer and maybe he could convince her to go home.

just as i was about to get off the phone and call ian, she walked in the door.
