Texas football will be in the top ten for the next ten years.

So you might as well get used to it and stop raining on my fucking parade. I would think that Ohio State is far more worthy of loathing than my Longhorns. They're number one and they had almost no one returning on defense! That sounds to me like media bias!

TuralyonW3 09-06-2006 05:36 PM

as I said in the other thread:

Longhorns have the 2nd most winningest record in the last 5 years behind Miami, which they will soon eclipse, obviously. Amazing players and millions of dollars will continue to flood into the school over the following years. BC is a stagnant, mediocre football program.

Trotskilicious 09-06-2006 05:40 PM

I really wish people would stop hating. Of course, I also hate any team that is number one that is not Texas, so I guess I'm a big hypocrite.

TuralyonW3 09-06-2006 05:41 PM

what do you think about the suspension even though he tested negative?

2Marlon2Brando 09-06-2006 05:44 PM

it will be awesome when ohio state crushes ut

Notre Dame has had amazing players and unimaginable amounts of money coming into it for...well....forever. And they're still not a top ten football team.

Although I still have hopes for a national title. I just don't think it's a reasonable expectation. And don't give me that "their academic standards are too high" bullshit. They still have access to loads of talent.

I'm just very pessimistic about the whole situation right now.

EastCoastDouche 09-06-2006 06:51 PM

Yeah but as Turdfest alluded to in another thread, Notre Dame has academic standards. Texas on the other hand, lets in niggers who get busted with literally 100 pounds of weed in their car or a loaded glock in their lap on a Sunday night on the strip.

Not really. Maybe at some key positions, but their lines and secondary have been weak compared to the big boys.

Mark Sanchez

Maurice Claret

I agree with you, but only because they are in a piss-poor conference. IT pains me to say it, but the best conference this year is the SEC, followed by the Big-10.

sppunk 09-07-2006 09:29 AM

I hate Notre Dame.

HATE.

Tchocky 09-07-2006 10:13 AM

OSU is #1 because Troy Smith, Ted Ginn and Antonio Pittman are a three-headed monster on offense, and their defense isn't weak at all despite the losses. They're gonna hand Texas their lunch on Saturday night...

...which will make seeing Michigan beat them later this year all the more gratifying! :D

sppunk 09-07-2006 10:18 AM

Penn State's defense completely shut down Ohio State last season. This year's Texas defense is a hell of a lot better than PSU's.

Tchocky 09-07-2006 10:38 AM

Keep in mind PSU's offense might not be what it was last year though.

sppunk 09-07-2006 11:03 AM

No, you are right: They'll have a passing game.

But I was referring solely to the UT/Ohio State game, not Penn State.

TuralyonW3 09-07-2006 04:05 PM

I can't wait to gloat about Texas's victory sat. night after I get back from the stadium.

Oh is that the only reason? I guess the fact they beat Ohio State and USC in the past year has nothing to do with the talent that UT has. Texas A&M is on the way up, never count out Oklahoma, Texas Tech is good, I swear! and Nebraska is on track to be back on top in the North. But you are right, the Big 12 is a big pile of crap. Missouri, Colorado, Iowa State, that whole northern division is worthless outside of nebraska.

The SEC is the best conference every year.

Yeah, ok. I guess the defense didn't surrender 278 yards to a 5-8 guy from the MAC. I know he's good but he's not Young and Charles. Texas plays D and Ohio State will not, when you're talking about a shoot out, the team that has the best run defense will almost always win.

And you're smoking a lot of crack if you think that Michigan team can beat Ohio State, defense and all.

coffee spoon 09-08-2006 08:54 PM

it's gonna be fun looking at this shit when ohio state and notre dame steamroll this weekend.

Trotskilicious 09-08-2006 08:56 PM

LOOK YOU FUCKS THERE IS NO WAY TEXAS WILL GET "STEAMROLLED". GOD DAMNIT.

coffee spoon 09-08-2006 09:37 PM

Texas loses by 10 at least.

agenda suicide 09-08-2006 10:14 PM

Once again, not going to happen.
Now bend over so I can steamroll your ass.
