amazing movie

it was good. i didnt think it was the best movie of the year, but it was entertaining. indie hipster shitheads will probably jizz unecessarily over it, but thats to be expected. more than anything, it had a good (great) cast.

i saw it this afternoon - i kept getting the feeling i had seen somthing like that before but can't pinpoint where? The end reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite a little bit. I love Greg Kinnear and Steve Carell so i enjoyed it but the best characters were the little girl and the grandfather who were awesome. Actually it was a really good ensemble cast in general.

i havent heard a bad word about this movie yet. i have to go and see it, it got like a 90+ from rotten tomatoes i think.

the people who like this are even bigger suckers than the people who liked snakes on a plane

i imagine during the writing they were thinking "hey wont it be quirky if this character..." while the royal tenenbaums played in the background

the only thing I could complain about is that it was pretty obvious that the non speaking kid was going to yell FUCK when he first spoke... but the context of what he was going to yell about wasn't as obvious.

why are indie filmmakers more concerned with piling on loads of quirky shit instead of creating believable characters someone could reasonably relate to and be involved in

wes anderson is the only one who pulls this off and these idiots (zach braff, miranda july, whoever wrote little miss sunshine) are ruining everything

the break-up is a funnier and more rewarding movie than little miss sunshine
