Ok, there were 9 spam threads on the page 1 of the gen board at one point today.

I was thinking VBB should be upgraded to one of those versions where you have to enter the randomised warped text in order to register, but how about something simpler?

What if you just set it so that new users cannot make their own threads until they have at least 5 posts?
