Can we de-mod or whatever Nimrods Son? Or at least cut his power down?

I get the impression he’s only in there cause he posts daily and can handle basic maintenance.

I’m disappointed that The Gaddrow posts less. The boy knew how to moderate.

This Nimrod idiot just does whatever he fancies. None of his decisions are made objectively. The only credit I can give him is that he doesn’t ban more people on a whim.

But everything else seems to be basically done as he pleases.

I guess the decisions he does make on personal whims dont have a huge impact.
Like yesterday I have 3 red blocks. Today I have 10, thanks to Nimrod. But it doesn't really matter.

I'd be more pissed if I was banned or my posts were deleted or something.


So I guess Nimrod is alright.

What pisses me off about the reputation thing is that if I wanted, I couldn't neg rep someone to hell in one day, because I'm not a mod.
But Nimrod has that option.

Why? Cause he can 'clickity click' the damn forum settings in his favour.

ANd this impacts on posters and impressions of them etc. But it's not based on any normal treatment.

I mean, some n00b might come in here and be all, 'Man, that barden guy must totally suck! Everyone here must hate him!' when it's actually just Etsy trying to neg rep me daily for the last three weeks, and Nimrod having a little tantrum and doing more then Etsy could in 3 weeks within like, 2 minutes.

And then how will I be considered cool?

the admins can assign themselves a rep number. typical nimrods son he assigned it something reasonable and just reps people 5 times to nuke them instead of just setting his at 100000000 and getting shit for it

at other boards noone is between 1000000000 and -1000000000 because of what the admins set themselves at and because the people they pos rep spread it around as well

I dont even know how it works.

Do you need certain pos rep points to have an impact on anyone elses reputation.

I imagine him sitting in his dark room, its light outside but his heavy curtains are drown closed. There is rubbish and leftovers strewn around his PC, his hands are a little greasy and next to his mouse is a suspicious pile of used serviettes.
He logs into the Netphoria forum settings, drops down the rep level menu to ‘lots’, negatively reps some innocent soul and then… smiles.

That’s what he thinks when he does it.
