what an terrible performance. pajo has a horrible tone and doesn't even do anything--hell, I'd go as far as saying James is a better guitarist than him. and that really video shows just how awful corgan is at guitar. a solo where he repeats the same phrase 10+ times, and the worst use of a tremolo since c.c. deville.

I'll agree that Matt and especially Dave were probably so out of it they couldn't even play right half the time, but Billy sounds fucking killer. His style is very spontaneous and creative, he plays what he feels, much like Hendrix. And he conveys it very well.
