Hey, I'm willing to pay $1500 for this. My bid was a good faith bid and if I was to somehow win, I'd honor the bid happily. Just because it's unlikely I will win doesn't mean I shouldn't try. If the price is going to get over $1500, it will have gotten there with or without me.
