Hey guys, you could consider pooling your cash together.

We saw how well that worked with Bart, Millhouse, and Martin when they bought Radioactive Man Issue #1.:D

I didn't, how did it work out for them?

Hey, I'm willing to pay $1500 for this. My bid was a good faith bid and if I was to somehow win, I'd honor the bid happily. Just because it's unlikely I will win doesn't mean I shouldn't try. If the price is going to get over $1500, it will have gotten there with or without me.

It started raining, but the boys were still able to play their little tie up game inside.

bozo 08-03-2005 05:24 PM

sorry shits buts i'm gonna max bid 10 Gs with a minute left

Esty 08-03-2005 09:54 PM

If this goes for a huge amount of cash, do you think other people will sell theirs?

Doubtful. I'm shocked one of these actually got to the market. Who - of who we knew had a copy - would sell theirs?

stellawasadiver 08-03-2005 10:39 PM

billy has one.

D'arcy needing money for coke is a funnier possibility. (I realize fully she probably never had a copy.)

stellawasadiver 08-03-2005 11:02 PM

i think joe/metro def. has one

stellawasadiver 08-03-2005 11:05 PM

i remember reading it somewhere

and i really dont think yelena has one.

yelena??
gooch?
bill Sr.?
shanagan (metro owner however the hell you spell it)?
KROQ?
any producers? flood alan butch?
jesse?
rick?

who else?

Dave Asselin and Eric Agnew both got it, as I recall. So that narrows it down a little more.

Slurpee 08-03-2005 11:16 PM

Shanahan definitely had one, he said he played it once at a party then put it in a safe deposit box.

Billy's manager at the time of Machina definitely had one, because that's the one Jay Leno showed for the Tonight Show performance of Cash Car Star. I think her name started with an M... melinda? something like that. But she had one.

Billy might have two, you know.

ammy 08-03-2005 11:19 PM

i'm (nearly)positive it's not the one i listened to. lol

ammy 08-03-2005 11:20 PM

Sorry I could not fit any more pictures in this listing. Everything is in really great condition. The lines that show up in some of the pictures are actually light from scanner reflecting off the plastic covering on albums.

the plastic covering is tape. why didn't they say it was from uneven taping?

and whoever the seller is seems to have a boy over the age of five.

and they wouldn't. you would also think they would have stuck that news in the newsletter

true. though i don't pay attention to spifc goings on. ..

anyway. i just went through all thier selling/buyings and have determined that..

they havea child, a boy. they have been married (though i get the feeling they are getting married again?) and they are female - they also like radiohead

my theory - some women married to some guy who had the lps got divorced and somehow got this out of the divorce and is now being vidictive and selling it!
ok. maybe that's just me hoping for some fun drama :(

ammy 08-03-2005 11:43 PM

anyone ask about the numbers yet and all that?

the lines on the scan explanation REALLY bugs me.

i asked him about it even though i can't buy it. maybe if enough people ask him he will be forced to respond.

oklabama 08-04-2005 12:27 AM

Aw man I wish I could have that, it would pretty much make my life complete.

Woo hoo! First post

we are thinking like fans, this person may not give 2 shits... if they just somehow ended up with it & were never into the band... ?? prob in it for the money? or completely stupid... i don't know

mourninglight 08-04-2005 12:59 AM

maybe - maybe not.

if so, then i spit on them... i cannot imagine selling something like this... no no no no no, ya know?

mourninglight 08-04-2005 01:20 AM

certain words come to mind:

disrespectful
&
untr00 fan
&
desperate

yes, those are good descriptions of any 'fan' who would sell such a prize

dean moriaty 08-04-2005 01:37 AM

Ill assume SPiFC is SPFC.org, which is (i believe) Eric Agnew. So dont count it twice.

And didnt Billy once say he didnt keep a copy for himself?

No. There are way rarer things. Collectspumpkins made a list a few months ago in the traders forum.
