to outbid samderek who bid before the lucky notaraven...

...cause we all know having the high bid with 6 days left assures notaraven of victory in the end!

You're not reading it correctly. samderek placed a bid, and set his max to be $500. not raven kept bidding to top samderek's bid, but was unsuccessfull many times because the max was so high. Finally, he topped it, because he bid $510.

celluloid_love 08-03-2005 04:59 AM

I should have mentioned the voting was from bottom to top, with the top being the highest bidder (notaraven is the current highest)

Looking at the bid times it seems that "notaraven" kept bidding until he/she became the #1 bidder. Whats weird is that you can see the bid amounts, thats normally secret till the end, or to the seller only (from what I remember).

Okay.

I really have no idea how eBay works, so thanks.

thebaconpress 08-03-2005 05:37 AM

Anyone other than me think it is a fake?

One crappy camera phone looking picture of the whole set and the others are "scanned"?

Combine that with the seller's feedback and auction history plus they have changed user IDs in the last 30 days and I think someone should e-mail them about how and when they got it (from billy or someone else) and some better pictures before you throw a grand at it.

BTW, if it is confirmed, I will see you in the last 20 seconds.

;)

bozo 08-03-2005 07:07 AM

they really have it, but will they send it, either way i'd drive to get it

The machine of god 08-03-2005 07:25 AM

Looks real to me. I have what I believe are the best quality existing scans of M2 from Gregory Sylvester and the scans on ebay are definently a different copy. Note that you can see where the stickers and tape have been put on as is consistent with various descriptions. As the scans I have are of Gregs copy that writes one off...leaving another 24 possible owners.

The New 08-03-2005 08:43 AM

So the guy is selling a bunch of cheap oil paintings, some back to school boys clothes, ear rings, some star wars dolls and an original M2 vinyl....

Now I definitely know it is real. Sounds like the make up of an old school Billy friend if you ask me. I have met some people searching out shows that make this seem VERY legit.

As much as I never wanted to see one of these for sale, it is pretty exciting. Just once again proves everything has it's price.

All copies are all numbered, right?

tomthum81 08-03-2005 09:13 AM

whoever's selling this is a moron...

first of all, why sell it?
secondly, if you're goin to sell it... wait for the right time... and now is not that time.

he didnt actually do that. he set a maximum bid, and other people tried to bid, so the computer automatically bid for him since his maximum bid was higher. after a while, the person who was trying to bid gave up.

NilSineDeo 08-03-2005 11:00 AM

everyone better hope that i don't win the lottery in the next few days

avsfan7733 08-03-2005 12:03 PM

ouch, look at the price now.

1,126 bucks with 6 days left.

Esty 08-03-2005 12:19 PM

What a bunch of dumbfucks. I have never understood why people bid on shit so many days from the deadline.

Dead 08-03-2005 12:48 PM

If you guys want to make stealth ninja bids, you should try auctionsniper. You get 3 free snipes and if you use this link I get 3 also. I've never lost an auction with it. You set up when you want it to bid and it will bid for you, like 5 seconds before the auction closes.

I hope that M2 is real, with people spending over $1000 on it. That one early bidder is a retard.

PS: This is not a tubgirl link.

JACKFRUITAUTO 08-03-2005 01:01 PM

I BET IT SELLS FOR $2775

Dead 08-03-2005 01:02 PM

Future Boy 08-03-2005 01:36 PM

I DONT HAVE THE CASH NOW,MAN!

Raskolnikov 08-03-2005 01:58 PM

I'm pretty sure that this isn't the 1st time that this has been done - for some reason my brain remembers an original up for auction right after they were handed out. It was a few months or so after the tracks surfaced and all of that excitement.

Am I the only one who remembers that? It sold for an arm and a leg, though.

As far as this one goes - I'm in full agreeance with Esty. If you truly want the thing, then why are you bidding NOW?! Just wait and snipe the pants off of that unit.

tomthum81 08-03-2005 01:58 PM
