Seeing The Frogs.

Going to a friend's house. The same core group of people has attended for the last three or four years, so it's a tradition. Usually we sit around in her basement, watch DVDs (often the Rocky Horror Picture Show), play Trivial Pursuit, and mock Dick Clark. It's actually a really good time.

Dunno, I was thinking about going up to Pittsburgh to party at some club with a bunch of friends but it's like 70 bucks to get in (free drinks and food) and it's some techno club which sucks and probably way too many people (I hate crowded bars these days). So I'm either going to just hang out and get drunk at one of my friends house or, most likely, go to a strip club near here and get destroyed.

You lucky, lucky fucker.

I was supposed to go to this party with this girl from high school who I ran into a few weeks ago. I hadn't seen her for years, but yeah. I was stoked about it until last night when I got drunk with her and found out she was a pothead and a cokefiend. I dunno if I am going now or not. :erm.

Well, there a bunch of galas going on and a bunch of stuff going on at various clubs and bars, but they are all $70 and up (and the galas are all $150 and up). I debated about going to one of the galas, but decided that the money could be better spent. So... I'll be spending New Year's Eve all alone in my apartment doing nothing.

Except probably not "off-my-ass" drunk simply because I loathe the vomiting and the hangover. A good nice happy buzz should be okay for me.

I'm all for pot, but when you go out and are having a hard time functioning without it, that's when it begins to worry me. this is what I was indicating when I called her a pothead. The snorting coke thing in the back of a bar was a little weird as well.

getting dressed up and going to the boyfriend's apartment. he's cooking me dinner (with appetizer and dessert and everything!), drinking wine, champagne at midnight and probably lots of snuggling :)

i'm bringing the kitten cos i don't want to leave him alone for a night yet.
