Some dude made an album called shitegeist and parodied all the names and everything, its pretty damn funny.

Holy shit, this is awesome. Not so much for the "parody".

If you took these songs out of that context and some guy just wrote them, gave them funny names and put them online, they would be fucking hilarious all by themselves, without any relation to Zeitgeist.

this started when i kept seeing ppl using the word 'shitegeist' in reference to zeitgeist [before it had come out], and all we had were the titles, so as a joke i made up the tracklist. then one day out of nowhere i started saying to myself 'gossamurder is awesome murder' and decided to actually make songs out of it. i was having a sort of writers block at the time so it gave me something to work towards/around/with/whatever.
the idea was kinda dumb, and feels kinda plagiaristic now, but whatever, so is everything.

I perfer sheissengeist... the pure Deutsch version of the album.
