He has been making music for over 5 years with that name. Not exactly flavor of the month but I understand he may be new to you, as his popularity has only recently happened. He thinks it's funny that people think badlands is his first album.

Lol griefer

redbull 07-01-2013 11:08 AM

Trotskilicious 07-01-2013 11:17 AM

i listened to that shit two years ago on your recc and it sucked

Shallowed 07-01-2013 11:51 AM

There's been a lot of comebacks this year from artists that hadn't released any new albums for a while.

slunken 07-01-2013 11:53 AM

I will admit badlands wasn't any better than the singles that preceded it but I never said it was

Lol trots

cocksure 07-01-2013 12:36 PM

badlands is pretty good

Trotskilicious 07-01-2013 01:01 PM

Yea but the new one blows it out of the water. Its more of a cohesive experience. Badlands was basically a collection of singles and rerecorded tracks from other releases.

cocksure 07-01-2013 02:36 PM

ok might check it out but all in all i'm too busy getting into old shit i'm discovering

Catherine Wheel 07-01-2013 05:30 PM

New Editors and White Lies, new National, and Savages. Great year for post punk.

Also enjoying the new Weeknd single "Kiss Land"

D. 07-01-2013 07:00 PM

God I hate dirty beaches

Trotskilicious 07-01-2013 08:42 PM

Order 66 07-01-2013 10:34 PM

i'll probably look like that in a few years

Cowlishaw 07-01-2013 11:08 PM

Sounds like The National's "Trouble Will Find Me" is very good, haven't gotten around to listen to it yet.

Catherine Wheel 07-01-2013 11:27 PM

It's a B- album. Solid but not as good as High Violet or Alligator. About as good as Boxer.

Yeezus and Monomania are my 1 & 2 but I'm not sure which is which. A lot of other really solid music out too but I'm not quite sure yet what makes my top 5 or 10 and in what order yet. I'd say this already the best year in music since 2009.
