Narrow Stairs - underrated record or the most underrated record?

Guys it’s so good. I am in love with every second of it.

I support this thread

Even after that wicked Godot burn

Alice 05-11-2019 05:05 PM

I don't love every second of it though

Alice 05-11-2019 05:05 PM

Bixby Canyon Bridge gives me those good chills every time

Alice 05-11-2019 05:11 PM

Oh my talking bird

Alice 05-11-2019 05:14 PM

It's all here for you as long as you choose to stay

I don't love every second of it, but I do really, really love Cath. Definitely my favorite song by them.

Mediocre album by a mediocre band who has better albums

i like mine 'cause it looks like what Mike "Legendary Adventist" Campbell would look like in a SNES cutscene

ninsp 05-12-2019 11:18 PM

I thought I was the only person who adored this album on the planet...

ninsp 05-12-2019 11:21 PM

Grapevine Fires is amazing.

Alice 05-13-2019 11:35 AM

Who wants to talk about The Stability EP?

wHATcOLOR 05-13-2019 04:57 PM

bixby canyon bridge, grapevine fires, cath.

haven't listened to the album in years but those songs are excellent

Alice 05-13-2019 05:10 PM

I like The Ice is Getting Thinner a lot too

Eulogy 05-13-2019 08:26 PM

Pity and Fear is great

FlamingGlobes 05-14-2019 08:31 PM

It's fine but I liked Kintsugi better.

FlamingGlobes 05-14-2019 08:32 PM

Yes, I am willing to go down on record as being the only person who genuinely enjoyed Kintsugi.

It has some filler but it's definitely one of the best divorce albums released the year of my divorce.

Eulogy 05-29-2019 01:53 PM

I also like codes and keys. Go figure!

I didn't give that one the time of day for the longest time - but when I finally did go for it, it lived on rotation for a few weeks there. It's top 3 for me with Trans (of course) and to get back on point, Narrow Stairs.

Ehh, maybe not. Would have to find a spot in there for "We have the facts..." - was one of my first "indie" albums after stumbling into a song from it somehow - probably referred to by somebody on this site back in 2001. :)

Am now fully into this band. Half drunk record purchases are great ideas. I will defend kintsugi and codes and keys.

Seeing them at the metro Thursday. V pumped.

Eulogy 07-26-2019 04:55 PM

Just ordered thank you for today on vinyl which will mean I’ll have everything except the debut.
