I quit smoking 3 months ago tomorrow - with the exception of a few alcohol induced slips ups that didn't carry on to morning. Good luck!

quitting smoking is a great thing to do for yourself! I spent the money I saved on an exercise bike and cable tv so I could have a new life where I never left home and was never tempted to smoke cigarettes. It's been 7 years now.

my vanity is pretty much the only thing that finally forced me to quit smoking. i started noticing little lines i didn't have before. yeah i'm getting older, but i know cigarettes don't help. that went on for a coupe years but my urge to smoke always won.
so i started buying more expensive face wash and lotions and creams to counter the smoking. so there i am wasting even more money. i dunno. i just felt like quitting and i hope it sticks. |
I'm quiting too. 16 days no cigs (well except one during the Super Bowl)
|
forty-six days without cigarettes.

Nope
And I think I smoked it after the game to reward myself for not smoking during the super bowl. Stupid alcohol. |

2 months! who's still on the no smoking train?
|
i've been smoking regularly for three weeks
i had quit for five years. i've mentioned a lot that after i quit cold turkey i had no problem going out drinking 1-3 times a year and smoking a pack and dropping it again just like that for some reason my ADD meds make me crave them intensely. I'm hoping that eventually goes away, because I really don't want to be a regular smoker. I loved being able to pick it up for a weekend and stop. It's frustrating because it was so easy. I never had cravings after I stopped. None at all. oh well. I can either keep smoking or go off the one daily medication I finally found that keeps me from staring at my shoes all day and not talking to anyone at work. I'm gonna stick with the Vyvanse and hope I can get back to my old occasional habit. |
4 weeks

way to go, team!
two months and not even a drunken cigarette. mind you i've been still pumping an ungodly amount of nicotine into my system with my fake cigarette. not too concerned about that, though. |
Great job to everyone so far!!!
Good luck on your journeys ahead Also excited to announce that my brother has started to quit smoking :D |
So what have you guys noticed that is different, aside from money saved?
Do you feel like you've quit long enough that you don't even think about smoking? |
