Trump may have found loophole in statute regarding immigration ban

https://www.google.com/amp/www.foxne...?client=safari

The statute reads in part: “Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”
Wittes wrote that this statute speaks to one of two “big questions” on which the case will turn.
He said the statute indeed gives Trump “sweeping power” to restrict entry, writing: “Remarkably, in the entire opinion, the panel did not bother even to cite this statute, which forms the principal statutory basis for the executive order (see Sections 3(c), 5(c), and 5(d) of*the order). That’s a pretty big omission over 29 pages, including several pages devoted to determining the government’s likelihood of success on the merits of the case.”

He knows full well Muslim refugees are not a major security threat because virtually every terrorist event we've had here stateside has been a false flag -- Actions set up by rogue elements in and out of our government to blame on muslims. The fact the globalist are importing them by the millions into the west is to destabilize these regions through their s.o.p of divide and conquer (as many are radicalized and want to spread sharia law).

Trump listed the ban of those 7 countries as a trail balloon to see who would be his legal nemesis' going forward. He's getting his answers (Wash. Minn. 9th circuit, etc. i.e. potentially the supreme court). Part of what's been exposed during these proceedings has been a President's ability to legally deport millions of illegals. But Trump has done this not blaming Jose per se', but 'terrorist' while using the false flags to engender support for a ban.

We'll see what happens with the Supremes and the travel ban, meanwhile, he's already set the stage for deportations through this. Pretty brilliant and cunning actually and I'd guess he'll figure out a way to put the squeeze on those who stoop up to all this.

Well, well. Looks like the 9th jerkit court of schlemiels is considering re-hearing Trump's EO in front of their 11 judge panel.

The matter could move forward next week. An unidentified judge on the 9th Circuit on Friday requested that the court’s 25 full-time judges vote on whether the temporary block of Trump’s travel ban should be reheard before an 11-judge panel, known as en banc review, according to a court order. The 9th Circuit asked both sides to file briefs by Thursday.

The Fake News artist are saying its gonna be a new EO, but the court is suggesting they want to re-hear the old one they just dumped. Why? Because they know their ass is on the line with their b.s., that's why. I hope Trump denies them and bust that court up.

How exactly is he a fascist and how do you reconcile seeing that in him and yet be so utterly blind to the litany of unlawful and murderous political abuse of the Clinton's?

40% of Americans are still wearing MAGA hats which thankfully is a new low.

Quote:

President Donald Trump's approval rating reached a new low Saturday, according to a poll from Gallup, as the new administration has struggled to find its footing nearly a month into the term.

The daily tracking poll found that just 40% of Americans approve of President Trump's job as president so far, compared to 55% who say the disapprove. The negative 15-point spread is the highest recorded in the poll since Trump took office January 20.

Trump's approval rating has hovered in the mid-to-low 40s since the second week of his presidency, but the new poll suggests growing dissatisfaction with his performance amid the chaotic rollout of his controversial travel ban and a series of divisive Cabinet confirmation fights.

Trump's low approval rating is atypical for a new president. Former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton all enjoyed approval ratings in the high 50s in Gallup tracking polls during the early months of their administrations.

I only ever saw one person wear one and it was during the fall when going pick your own pumpkin picking and apple cidering. Since no one else was wearing political gear (not even a bumper sticker), it was kinda rude to come on to private property and wear such a thing

ohnoitsbonnie 02-13-2017 01:14 PM

Aren't you supposed to take hats off indoors too? Out of respect?

Bonnie, all I know is that Flynn is one bad hombre.

Quote:

Three weeks into the Trump administration, council staff members get up in the morning, read President Trump’s Twitter posts and struggle to make policy to fit them. Most are kept in the dark about what Mr. Trump tells foreign leaders in his phone calls. Some staff members have turned to encrypted communications to talk with their colleagues, after hearing that Mr. Trump’s top advisers are considering an “insider threat” program that could result in monitoring cellphones and emails for leaks.

The national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, has hunkered down since investigators began looking into what, exactly, he told the Russian ambassador to the United States about the lifting of sanctions imposed in the last days of the Obama administration, and whether he misled Vice President Mike Pence about those conversations. His survival in the job may hang in the balance.

Police chiefs object to Trump's efforts to involve them in immigrant deportations

Quote:

The letter is signed by 61 current and former local police chiefs and sheriffs, many of whom come from states won by Trump last November including Alabama, Arizona, Florida, South Carolina and Texas. The political diversity and geographic spread of the signatories underlines the deep apprehension felt by many within the law enforcement community toward the president’s plans to beef up their role in rounding up, detaining and ultimately deporting huge numbers of people.

The letter, written under the auspices of the Law Enforcement Immigration Task Force, a coalition of senior law enforcement experts convened by the National Immigration Forum, does not mention Trump by name. But it indirectly references his administration’s efforts to force police to play a more central role in the deportation business.

It was released to coincide with a hearing on Tuesday of the US Senate committee on homeland security and governmental affairs, convened by Republicans under the provocative title “the effects of border insecurity and lax immigration enforcement on American communities”.
