Is the MCIS era Silverfuck awesome or Billy's self-indulgent bullshit embodied?
 

I'm going with both. The version on TAFH reissue is something else but hoo boy all the "fucking whore" stuff has not aged well.

The Eye part is dope though.

For me, I'm not even that big of a fan of the original song. I loved it as a kid cause it had that punk sorta kinda vibe that I was all about, but it's not something I find myself wanting to listen to much as an adult.

It's the latter, but MCIS tour was killer overall even with Matt Walker.

I've never been able to get into it. I especially don't like the guitar tone when they fuck around with the whammy pedal.

I always remember a hilarious quote from one of the MCIS Silverfuck rants - someone posted the vid here a couple of years ago..

"That bitch didn't even like my first record"

It's both. I'm crazy/autistic/whatever so 'new' tracks live don't appeal to me; I need to know the structure to enjoy it. Having listened to so many boots, I'd kill to see it live now. But IRL, after a long gig, sweaty/tired/worried about getting home/etc I would not want to watch a 30 minute seemingly structureless jam

It's peak SP though. The heavy chuggachugga riffing contrasted with ethereal sections.

Someone on here once called it '30 minutes of riffing on 'she was a fucking whore'' which is not inaccurate and fucking hilarious
