The Breakfast Club served detention

Trotskilicious 03-24-2014 04:25 PM

I can't wait until I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff.

redbreegull 03-24-2014 05:29 PM

I could probably live to be 150 and never be as terrible and bitter as you are

Shallowed 03-24-2014 05:34 PM

Surely you'd at least be bitter that you weren't dead?

redbreegull 03-24-2014 05:36 PM

Rick Moranis was originally cast as the janitor but left due to creative differences and was replaced by John Kapelos.

Dammit! Rick Moranis makes everything better

I think you're pretty damn bitter yourself. You simply express it differently. In some ways a lot less honestly

you think you have the right to tell other people what kind of sex they can be having so I can't really tell you to fuck off hard enough

no

people can have whatever consensual relationship they want. I've never said otherwise.

breakfast club is a legit good movie. not "omg drop everything and watch it now" good but it was from a time when movies were more straighforward. if a "teen" movie were done like that now it'd need to be all edgy with break dancing disney stars in order to get greenlit

can't believe we're going on 30 years with these movies. i remember being shocked when i realized Back to the Future was 20

Catherine Wheel 03-26-2014 01:47 AM

16 Candles is hilarious all the way through. It's probably his funniest film. It might be my favorite comedy from the 80s. Breakfast Club is alright. Was never a huge fan of it.

not really, it's probably the kind of the thing you won't enjoy as much unless you are in high school the first time you see it. It's a pretty enjoyable teen movie IMO and it is a "classic" but it's not like an amazing movie or anything. I've never seen 16 Candles either. Ferries Bueller is pretty funny though.

Some Kind of Wonderful and Pretty in Pink are the bomb.

MyOneAndOnly 03-26-2014 11:09 AM

"Don't Forget About Me" is worth watching if you liked John Hughes films.
