More specifically, I hate the way he crashes on the upbeat during the main riff of Cherub rather than just leaving it subtle with the kick. It throws the whole groove off balance. Little dumb decisions like that (or playing batshit ugly fills in the outro of For Martha) add up and ruin it for me. Blah.

I don't really like when Churub Rock is played that fast. It seems really rushed. Did they intend to play it like that? Or did it just come out like that and once they started there was no reasonable way of communicating to three other members that they needed to slow it down?

I love it fast. I actually feel like some of the songs were performed too slow lately. I'm looking at you Ruby. The 97 Ruby with Walker on drums was fast and awesome. 2000 FU also a fast version that kicked ass.
