So for now our focus moves to madamezuzus.com and the online store, and when I'm home next around my birthday (March 17th) I will be looking at even more spaces. Unfortunately, Highland Park doesn't have a lot of ideal spots at this time, which is part of the holdup. So again, thanks again to all our patrons. You have my gratitude for your support. And come party with us on the 18th as we say goodbye. There will be free tea that day for everyone who comes by, and special last-day sales. (And as far as @madamezuzus 2.0 goes, we hope to open a new location very soon, remaining in Highland Park if possible)

Madame Zuzu's serving a non-existent target market IN HELL

MplsTaper 03-08-2018 02:57 PM

Maybe they can partner with Piero's Pizza across the street and do pop up events.

Rider 03-08-2018 03:04 PM

Ehh it's fun to make fun of billy but the third wave of gentrification that forces out all the interesting businesses sucks.

I watched this happen in NYC and now I'm watching it happen here in Orlando.

FoolofaTook 03-08-2018 03:06 PM

orlando?

Oklahoma Sexual 03-08-2018 03:06 PM

precedent set with the machina reissue

it'll never happen

MplsTaper 03-08-2018 03:07 PM

Same thing is happening in Minneapolis and it does suck. Everything has to be luxury apartments/condos with chains street level. Between 3 ongoing developments my neighborhood will have 498 new apartments. Probably won't be long before I'm priced out of the neighborhood.

Gooch 03-08-2018 05:23 PM

FUCK!!! First People and Their Cars and now THIS!

phang 03-08-2018 06:45 PM

Has anyone on here actually been to Zuzu's? Is it any good?

shadow47 03-08-2018 07:10 PM

It's almost like everything new Billy tries he doesn't score the highest in the history of the thing at.

I went when I was in Chicago. It wasn’t anything special, but im glad I at least saw it. I paid entirely too much for what was basically a peanut butter and banana sandwich that I could’ve made myself in 2 minutes. The nice girl working didn’t give us any napkins, Airplane Mode noticed and got us some. Seemed annoyed. The best part was when Billy walked in through the back, went into the men’s room for like ten minutes, came out and left. He looked a little disheveled and had a bucket hat. There was a ton of random shit for sale and it all just seemed so slapped together. That was the most bizarre thing to me

Ram27 03-08-2018 09:18 PM

I don't know why but I really want to check it out now

My only other IRL Pumpkins experience was meeting Jimmy at a drum clinic. Would be fun to experience the Billy Corgan 25-on-32 narcissistic airplane mode means nothing to me we appreciate your enthusiasm white van turning the frogs gay vibe in person

Madame zuzus is a dumber name than shiny and oh so bright

Come to Duluth. It’s chill.

Literally it’s cold as fuck

wHATcOLOR 03-09-2018 02:03 AM

we have great business, tremendous business
b'lieve me. b'lieve me.
we have the best tea, the best tea. so many people want to buy this tea, we have to turn people away
this is not about the strength of the business. b'lieve me. we sell a tremendous amount of tea, let me tell you

Corgan's Bluff 03-09-2018 02:57 AM

Corgan has told a visitor nearly a year ago that there were problems with the landlord, probably forcing them to go somewhere else. Time enough to look for another venue...

We hope to look forward to opening again soon.

We understand your enthusiasm so I will be looking at even more spaces.

You know it. Snatched a pube right off the seat for cloning purposes too.

FoolofaTook 03-09-2018 08:47 AM

LOL

srt4b 03-09-2018 10:10 AM

If this was about profits he would have closed it years ago. Dude can make more than this place makes in a year in 1 club show. Seems like a pain in the ass to even keep it going for a dude with 20 mil. He must love the freaking tea.
