Mr. Rogers scandal (spoiler: no scandal)
I never watched this show in New Zealand, but he seems like a great guy. Does that probably mean that we're going to find out that he is a monster?

Fuck no. This thread title almost gave me a heart attack
|
seriously
|
Fred Rogers was a saint
|
would have already happened.
|
this still gives me feels. dude is so condescending at first but mr. rogers nices him out of 20M

I remember when I was a little kid my dad always said he was definitely a "homo"

Honestly, that's what he would always rant and rave about. My mom would always be like "now how could you possibly know that?" and my dad would be all "LOOK AT HIM! WHAT KIND OF MAN WOULD WANNA ACT LIKE THIS"
|
In hindsight, watching clips now, the guy does seem like a pretty big weirdo. Of course that would have nothing to do with being gay or not being gay, but he seems like a pretty creepy man.

Images of Fred Rogers posing with one or both middle fingers extended have long been circulated on the Internet with captions claiming they captured the children’s show host disdainfully “flipping off” his audience during the taping of the final Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood episode. Although the pictures may appear puzzling out of context, they’re actually screen captures from a harmless moment in 1967 when Fred Rogers led some youngsters through the familiar children’s song “Where Is Thumbkin?,” which is traditionally accompanied by participants’ holding up the corresponding fingers as they are each named in the song: |
When a shit apple falls from a tree and grows up in a field of shit, it doesn't have any choice.

I mean that in a non-sarcastic way. He really was.

Morgan Freeman actually harassing people is almost as disappointing as if this were true.
