the way Synchronicity should have been

I came up with a better tracklisting for The Police's Synchronicity. I took out Mother and Miss Gradenko which are both obvious filler and replaced them with a better Police song by Andy Summers "Someone to Talk To" and another great song from that era "Once Upon A Daydream."

1.Synchronicity I
2.Walking In Your Footsteps
3.O My God
4.Someone To Talk To
5.Once Upon A Daydream
6.Synchronicity II
7.Every Breath You Take
8.King Of Pain
9.Wrapped Around Your Finger
10.Tea in the Sahara
11.Murder By Numbers

I never liked Mother, but Miss Gradenko should stay.

It's not fleshed out enough. It's a skeleton of a song and also it's just dull sounding.

You don't think this is so much better? This is it's replacement.

It sounds like the greatest failure in your musical sojourn is not accepting synchronicity's original track listing.

I also think Ghost in the Machine would be better without the middle three tracks: Demolition Man, Too Much Information, and Rehumanize Yourself.

Take those three out and add Low Life and it would be a great album.

Weird to me that Tea in the Sahara isn't the last song on the album. If there was ever a song to wind down an album with, it's that one. Caught it the other night in a restaurant while I was waiting for takeout: just so good. Easily one of those Police borderline hits that really could/should have been just as monster as many of their others.

what is this, grandpa rock central

Synchronicity is basically sting's first solo album. by that point he was telling everyone else what to do. Unsurprisingly it's also the worst Police album. Not that it sucks, it's just not as good as the other ones before. Every breath you take is still the number 1 creepo song. I should know cause I used to really really like it. I mean not just musically.

It was the last song on the original version of the album (vinyl). Murder by Numbers was added to the cassette and cd version of the album.

Here is my revised version of Ghost in the Machine

1.Spirits in the Material World
2.Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
3.Invisible Sun
4.Hungry For You
5.Low Life
6.I Burn For You
7.One World
8.Omegaman
9.Secret Journey
10.Darkness
