Billy Mohler and I have decided that 2015 will be the year of the Complex. New music next year! #realmusic @ganninarnold @CatalanoMusic
I really enjoyed the first album.

Edit: And by "this year" I actually mean 2015. Close enough, or fuck OP?

At last!

He should invite James and Melissa as special guests...

Ram27 12-30-2014 08:07 PM

^ Now I'd pay to hear that. That'd be awesome

Does Jimmy have anything against James anyway? I mean I kinda get him not liking D'arcy since he's one of the best drummers ever and she's an average bassist. But James is cool

Make it happen internet!!!

except he thinks he's a shitty guitarist.

Even so I don't think they would have a problem playing with each other again

Holy shit that's epic.

themadcaplaughs 02-09-2015 11:52 PM

Glad to see Jimmy seems to be getting back in action.

toase 02-10-2015 12:02 AM

long time since I first heard that track, thanks for reminding me

anyone knows if there is any effect on the sound of the drums?

djzap 02-10-2015 12:04 AM

i was delighted because i thought the thread title meant bc was gonna make some complicated music again :(

morespsoon 02-10-2015 12:06 AM

Who would have ever guessed in the year 2000 that out of Corgan, Chamberlain, and Iha it would be Corgan that would be producing the worst music by far of the three in the 2010s?

I would like to see the person who could have predicted that.

Goddamn. I don't really like the guitar wankery but those fucking drums make the song

This is already better than MTAE

No matter what it will be better than MTAE. Jimmy just loves to play and write music. He's not sitting in a studio somewhere hemming and hawing about what "the kids" want to hear and over thinking things.

Keep your fingers crossed B0lls won't make a guest vocal appearance. Cause you know he'll try to sneak a 'LUVAH YOU'RE STRANGE' onto Jimmy's album.

A better title for that song in my opinion would have been "Nails on a Chalkboard" because that's what I felt like I was listening to.

I think it would be alright as an instrumental though.

The more solo stuff I watch the more I feel that SP was one in a million. That shit was incredible and can never be recreated

I liked the song in this video:

Is that the same guy he's working with now?

brutechinasky 02-10-2015 03:22 PM

that new song snippet sounds more sp1 than anything on MTAE
