Put the good live shows here
Honestly have we ever done this, because I have maybe…three random shows on my hard drive that I've ever listened to
And I don't know what the legendary gigs are, from any era So here you're just going to put your favorite show and maybe link to it on archive.org, which seems to be a legal thing to do, and we can all sit and enjoy happier times when we thought the abusive-household relationships within the band were kind of funny and cool And the horrifying extent of Billy's soul-crushing defensive toxicity toward everyone who's ever cared about him was something we saw through a haze of rock idolatry And you could tell others you were a Pumpkins fan without thinking, like, please don't have heard anything about Billy lately, please Baby, let's rock |

Some favorites:
Rio - January 26, 1996 (Hollywood Rock) - the one where they are all on drugs. Washington - January 6, 1996 - (9:30 club)- genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves here. London - May 15, 1996 (Brixton) - peak form |
Total amazingness here:

Fucking insane XYU at Rio: Brixton was the last time they ever did Jellybelly live, and the last time they ever did the opening acoustic set |
I have a short list of all the pro-audio shows that have the best fidelity and proper mixing. It's surprisingly short. I'll dig it out later.

Most of the soundboards (esp all those Machina ones) sound pretty dry. Most of the FM rips are ran through a compressor (last UC show) and sound weird

I left out a lot of the shorter shows where only a few songs were aired or recorded. list is based solely on audio quality.

Phoenix on the Arising tour...one of the best quality boots, and the only show where it actually sounds as if they're all having fun. Banter from Billy, D'arcy, and James, and 1979 as an additional encore. |
Thanks, folks; you've given me a lot to dig into

Eurockéenes 1997. Probably not the best, but it has always been a personal favorite. Has an amazing Ruby version as well
