Not cool to say something like that about Billy's kid, even in a joking manner. Billy, D'arcy, Jimmy, and James' kids should be off limits from that kind of stuff.

In the first interview about it he explicitly and definitively said that the person who shape shifted was not famous.

So this could only be the case if he lied as Tila Tequila is famous.

The whole shape shifting thing has me completely baffled.

I have no belief in such a thing. I am certain that people or beings cannot shape shift.

Yet, I cannot understand his motivation for lying about this, there is no motivation or reason to lie about such a thing.

When you listen to the interview, he doesn't sound like he is lying.

He truly believes this.

Hallucinations could be the only other explanation but I don't believe that either. I don't think he has any kind of serious mental illness and he is clean. Doesn't even drink alcohol anymore.

As I said - baffled. Interested what other people think too.

Don't be baffled, he's referring to his trans lover experience.

He needs to be careful about bringing this up, it's a different climate these days (rightly) from when he posted that questionable blog entry.

I'm curious where the transphobia is on those links. The first one he said "he/she"? I don't know how that is transphobic. It was a he that became a she. There is nothing inaccurate about this. Apparently in the trans world, calling a spade a spade is a phobia.

The second link I've read before. There is nothing in there either. He said it wasn't his thing and left. Then the person started spreading rumors and he threatened them to stop.

He really degraded her in that journal. She led him on tho, and that's her fault.

Selective memory strikes again eh? This has nothing to do with anything he wrote about a trans person. It's pretty silly to assume he's digging up an old story from the late 80's and revising it for his book.

Call it a "questionable entry" all you want, but it likely just represents the mindstate of him and his peers during that era 30 years ago. I doubt there's a single person here who hasn't learned from their own bigotry at some point in their existence. Too many other current things to jab at BC over, not going to over think one entry from an online diary from 13 years ago and base it on my full opinion of his personality today.

From what I remember, he said this happened recently. It was the same interview where he explained his mother's ghost "stealing pages" from his book.
