My god.

Greatest living songwriter. It’s not close.

smashingjj 04-17-2020 01:44 PM

2 songs in and I concur

topleybird 04-17-2020 03:32 PM

This is my favorite so far

Something as angry as this album should not be making me so happy but it's just like…you kind of forget sometimes how far artists can push their music

Squish Squash 04-17-2020 05:59 PM

I have Tidal, I can't remember if I've heard more of her stuff, but that's definitely a good album, especially considering she was like 17 when she made it.

redbreegull 04-17-2020 06:32 PM

I am very very excited to listen to this later. I have several beers and a bowl of marijuana set aside

Shallowed 04-17-2020 06:50 PM

ok I guess I'm going to listen to this at some point

it had better be life-changing, for how much hype it's getting

Squish Squash 04-17-2020 06:55 PM

Jesus, 100/100 aggregate score on Metacritic, according to Wiki.

i hear she actually let her guitarist bust out some leads when they played live, too. can you believe that?

Jfc everything she’s ever done is perfect. My go to favorite is when the pawn but that’s probably because of when it hit me. Idler wheel is also excellent. Extraordinary machine has a whole back story. Some songs got ruined for the label.

butthurt 04-18-2020 11:20 PM

I think this album is pretty great, but I don't like the production. It sounds like the mics were placed in tin cans.

toase 04-19-2020 12:13 AM

Rack of His is my fav
The lo-fi + hi+fi production is so amazing

Shallowed 04-19-2020 05:50 AM

it's ok

Cool As Ice Cream 04-19-2020 06:49 AM

FoolofaTook 04-19-2020 07:29 AM

Better than Jack Bates?

HerVelvetSpleen 04-19-2020 08:32 AM

Extraordinary Machine is in my top 5 favorite albums ever. Honestly I think this album is even better.

That’s no excuse for it sounding tinny. Lots of albums that sound amazing are recorded in houses.
