episode 4 felt more like classic twin peaks.

so far I would say the show is horrifying, bizarre, and kind of funny, so it pretty much lives up to my expectations. I'm intrigued to see what happens

there are 18 episodes. they aired the first two hours last Sunday and put the 3rd and 4th on demand. I'm assuming they'll air ep 3 and 4 this sunday? i hope i don't have to wait another week for a new episode.

I watched the 4, did a lot of research watching, then watched them again, and they made a shitload of more sense.

If anyone is super confused, just watch the last two episodes of season 2 and the movie Fire Walk With Me.

yes - dougie was a mistake for bad coop not to go back into the black lodge and replace real coop. he's the doppelganger.

that's why bad coops car wrecked, he (doppelganger) was supposed to come out through the cigarette lighter but bad coop was able to hold his garbonzonia in for longer.

we're just trying to get real/good coop from out of the black lodge where he's been trapped for the past 25 years.

Real Coop was supposed to return at 2:53 (i think that's the time) 25 years later but bob/black lodge created a doppelganger that tricked reality into inhabiting the body of some other dude, instead of switching places back with bad Coop.

It's quite possible that he (dougie) could be the real coop inhabiting a strange body but i'm fairly sure it's just a doppelganger, hence it's dumb outward appearances.

Could be wrong, though.

ah ok but bad coop is Dale Cooper's doppelganger from the Black Lodge. In TOS (lol) Hawk says everyone meets their shadow self in the Black Lodge.
