Can't believe parents would let kids put this shit right by their mouths. Must have been a disaster waiting to happen.

I can't say for certain whether it's toxic or not, but the fact that it's highly flammable would suggest that it's not the best thing for little kids to be putting by their mouths.

It's incredible how kids everywhere played with this product only 30 years ago. Would never fly today.
