What happened to all the live bootlegs?
Copperpot had uploaded tens if not hundreds on his YouTube channel, and now they're all gone.

Copperpot was doing the lord's work |
Four years ago COPPERPOT had problems with EMI for a 1996 Brixton-show of the Smashing Pumpkins and put their other stuff off for a short while for backing them up.
Could be the same now. His YouTube-channel is still working, but with only one Billy Corgan solo show now: https://www.youtube.com/user/DrCopperpot/videos ASHLEY FAHEY, former webmaster of the Smashing Pumpkins UK fan group, once had over 5000 Smashing Pumpkins-clips on his YouTube-channel "SmashingPumpkinsUK". He had too often trouble for copyright violations. So his channel got closed: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOc...IacS7VbIAYddkQ There's another channel on YouTube now with the same name, but with only a few clips on it: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmB...YiydHEar8U8sEg |
It would be nice if the copyright holders would actually do shit with that material rather than shut down people who are actually trying to share it.

I guess the Lucky 13 project is still alive.
Haha... |
its such bullshit. to take them down because they are copyrighted, typically is done because the band/label/etc is losing money. I can see if this was for official releases. They take them down, therefor the only way to see it is if you buy it. But to take down a fan shot/tv aired live bootleg show, that you cant buy anywhere, is pointless, it just alienates the band from the fans and the fans from the band. it doesn't create excitement anymore. people then forget, lose interest. which is what has happened to SP./ they are in a self inflicted nose dive. Bill is an asshat.
