Stockholm - 8/12/2007
Don't think there were any threads made about this. Anybody going/taping? And also what time does it start for us in the states?
|
it's now almost 7pm here in europe.
the website says 7:30, so if that's correct, the concert will start in about 30 minutes. |
And no one made a thread about this beforehand? Doesn't look like we'll get any updates until later on tonight.
|
i don't need any updates. i'll be glad if i can see the setlist tomorrow.
|
I have two friends at the show that may be texting me the setlist live, if possible. They're also taping with a couple of nice rigs, so at the very least we'll get good tapes out of Stockholm and Copenhagen.
I'll post any updates if/when I get them here and on the blog, link below. |
^^ terrific

Stockholm, Sweden - 8/12/07
Sooo! The concert was great... The white clothes were changed to military gray instead. Ginger was wearing pants. Lisa was wearing somekind of latex dress.
Billy was in a great mode. When he as he self said "fucked up" during Death from abowe he pretended he was weaping. Before the last song (muzzle) he presented jeff and ginger and said that they were single and refered to himself as the eternal single that no one wants. Then he said that sweden has the most beauteful girls and all the guys has great haircuts. Then he started talking about mastrubation wich lead him to talk about Bush. Hope someone booted this so everyone can hear it. Upsides... STARLA BY STARLIGHT (long tease) DROWN Downsides... Heavy metal machine No Gossamer :( |
starla, by starlight, drown and hmm: all upsides for me. can't wait to see them. :)
i'm also glad they got rid of the white dresses. |
By the way... I thing there were to or three new songs on the setlist.
I was in paris aswell. This gig was good but not as good as the paris one. |
someone made a thread on the sp board.

So fuck'n happy hummer isn't leaving the setlist.
I hope they still play it in september. |
I'm guessing the heavy new song is Superchrist. The soft new song could be any of about 15 different things.
|
we will find out when the setlist shows up on the official site tomorrow, i guess.
|
i'm bitter about how the residencies went
god, i had such high hopes why do i still believe in billy corgan? |
thanks so much!
|
One song from Machina II also, glass or Lucky 13 i think.
The talk about mastrubation started when someone threw a scarf (dont know if thats the correct english word) onto Billys mic-stand while he was talking about how single he was. He then said that the guy who threw it onstage used it as a mastrubation towel. Then he said swedish men usualy mastrubates 3 times a day because of all the beatyful women. Then he said it was american humor... And that Bush also has a real good sense of humor. Then he said he would keep the mastrubation towel or send it to Bush... dont remember. |
probably Lucky 13, I don't think they've played Glass' Theme yet....thanks for the info!
|
Rocket electric? please confirm cuz Rocket electric, SD-era style would kick so much ass
|
Great concert, they played 99 floors, superchrist etc. I hope someone taped it.
|
