Don't see a thread on this one - but looks like the "live archive" or "archive" project he's been talking about for the last (20?) years is firing up again.

He posted that it's going to happen - screencap below is from his Instagram last week sometime.

How exciting! I hear he’s going to release it after the album by album introspective review on IG. I think he’s on Gish right now! It’ll be here any day now. I hear he made an album about Chicago too. Oh! And I bet there will be a machina reissue too, pretty soon!! Kaleidiscope is on song, what, six now out of 44. So exciting!!!!!

Also I think he said about two years ago we’d be so sick and overwhelmed by the amount of archive material that is released by now. I’m holding my breath for sure! Any day! Check in here every day for the latest news!!

Pretty sure live Archives is the name of his the archive of live recordings and this is stuff being pulled from that archive for the reissue.

He started at the wrong place, should release final metro show and go back to 1988.

Agreed... I think my cynicism was pretty apparent in the original post. Been a fan since 1996, I'm damn used to having my hopes set in stone after BC makes a one off comment about him doing this or that, only to have it just NEVER HAPPEN.

But still, this looks like actual progress. It's just confusing progress since it looks like it's Machina 2, which I don't think is going to garner any real outside excitement.

I guess he's using it to tease the machina reissue
