SP stuff on archive.org

MACHINA II is on the Internet Archive, no surprise. But do you guys think that the FAEOMM tape and Billy's Gravity Demos should be on the Internet Archive, too? They both were circulated by Billy in 2000 with direct instructions to circulate them. It only seems fair, since the tapes are even harder to find in lossless. What do you guys think?

Cool As Ice Cream 04-04-2016 08:12 AM

why don't you ask billy?

I agree, that's one of the reasons I started the topic. XYU is amazing, too. In fact, all of them are great. I especially like this version of "If There is a God;" seems more "real" to me than the MACHINA version.

FAEOMM: https://archive.org/details/The_Frie...f_Modern_Music

Any information that I should add?

your details?
otherwise billy's lawyers will have to contact archive.org, your internet provider, etc. and that's a bit of a hassle.

Cool As Ice Cream 04-05-2016 02:10 PM

that version of xyu is released on the adore reissue. it's on the live bonus cd.

clcng 04-05-2016 04:40 PM

Speaking of Billy's lawyers, I found a full mp3 of Eye that was uploaded in 2010, no joke.

Big Truck05 04-06-2016 12:19 PM

Is that the XYU from Dodger Stadium on Halloween? I was there! hahahaha yeeeeeewwwww!

FoolofaTook 04-06-2016 06:02 PM

no shit caic. is that the disc with transmission on it?

i never listened to the reissuse the whole way through, song by song, just sampled what i thought was interesting.

so untr00 i know i bleed and weep

clcng 04-06-2016 07:10 PM

the adore reissue was clipped so badly. I couldn't stand listening to it for one second. The mono disc sounded horrible and i was really excited for that disc

slunken 04-06-2016 09:34 PM

i love discs. the more discs the better.

If Bill said to distribute them, then there's no foul in doing so. Definitely upload the Gravity demos, I'd love to hear them lossless.

Is Zomb even accepting new users anymore? I never got a confirmation on registry.

Willing to seed the ever-lovin' shit out of those.

he/she/it 04-17-2016 08:50 PM

Sweet!

fanfan 04-18-2016 01:28 PM

All of the Cool As Ice Cream magnet links are without a seeder right now unfortunately, I just checked.

If anyone is looking for any of these, let me know, I think I have most of them and can dig them out quickly again.

Cool As Ice Cream 04-18-2016 05:10 PM

or someone can just seed again. no digging required.

FoolofaTook 06-01-2016 05:53 PM
