Is Dexter worth watching?
 

Just noticed Netflix has it streaming, is it worth it?

season 1 definitely. season 2 yeah probably. the lithgow season definitely. the smits one... meh.

i only saw the first few episodes of the most recent one but i'd like to finish it.

my roomate really likes it. personally i didn't like the actor playing the main character so after the first 3 eps i wasn't into it. just my 2 cents, jack.

I'll give it a shot, thanks guys. Though the storyline doesn't really strike me so I might find it unsettling for myself. We'll see.

it seems a little, uh, juvenile i guess. oh a serial killer lol coll. its awesome though. so much goddamn suspense, id go to sleep so late because i just had to watch the next episode.

yea hes in it. his character is pretty annoying though, especially the later seasons.

he's one of the guys. an ensemble cast, really. his character does have moments of just being totally insufferable though like hnibos said. but i really loved it. all five seasons. really, really good stuff.

No. Overrated. Rehashed concept.

It's alright but I think people overrate it big time.


The acting is laughably bad. Dexter's sister on the show is probably the worst actress I've ever seen. She has to be near breaking down or tearing up with every line she speaks.

The whole formula of the show is predictable.

i like it all except season 3. i also don't like laguerta or batista. like most of everything else.

I watched a few episodes on netflix, never got into it...right now i'm on season 2 of Nip/Tuck.

Yeah watch it! I found the first two seasons to be exceptionally great, but even after that it keeps being exciting.

Seasons 1 and 4 are the best.

Most of the supporting characters are fucking horrible and stupid. Michael C. Hall is the reason to watch it. The writing is really weak and you have to suspend your understanding of reality almost to the point where you're watching a superhero show. It's Showtime so it's HBO inferior no matter what they try to do.
