Dandelion. You do not have these in many parts of Florida! Welcome to seasonality.

Pinus , pines. I can't identify from here but note their sorta spindly, ragged forms. It can be a tough place to grow, the side of a mountain.

This is a member of the Apiaceae. Note the branching from one stem, and then even more branching from each stem, upon which the inflorescence sits. This arrangement is called an umbel. The Apiaceae is also called the Umbelliferae. Within this family are a species like carrots, poison hemlock, parsley, giant hogweed... so definitely always proceed with caution wrt this family.

I guess more correct would be that all the flowers/structure on a stalk make up an inflorescence and each flower is a flower

6 is also known as ray and that's (mostly) the Asteraceae, or sunflower family. Imagine a sunflower or dandelion from the side.

Yes from the side. Imagine running your finger through the dandelion flower and looking at the side. The reproductive parts are well hidden. A very lascivious little plant. Sex out in the open but masterfully hidden by silky petals.

We have two girl rats named Victoria Pepper and Clover (spayed to prevent cancer) and we adopted this guy, who came with the name Barnaby (middle name Beetle). He's still shy but he loves chocolate:
He's super sweet and has one eye. He's older than the girls by a little bit too. They're so nice to him. They get along really well. And no they don't have sex.
