fluxequalsrad 05-06-2008 06:16 PM

Toronto show! Ricoh Collesium is big enough that I don't have to worry about getting tickets either!

davin 05-06-2008 07:38 PM

nice. glad its a GA venue.

maoi 05-07-2008 02:15 PM

roseland, samo civic auditorium and the concourse are all really bad venues. you'd think they'd book better venues considering the scarcity of their appearances. would have been awesome if they played the troub or knitting factory but then i'd probably get shut out of those shows

celluloid_love 05-07-2008 02:38 PM

pitchfork says theyre remastering loveless and isnt anything as well

Yeah, hasn't Shields been working on that for a while?

And isn't there a boxed set of rarities coming out in the future?

yeah, the venue they're playing in toronto is pretty shitty too. :/

redbull 05-07-2008 04:45 PM

aragon is easily the worse venue ever. But who cares

noyen 05-07-2008 04:53 PM

shields has also been trying to figure out how to write a new song for a while too.

I imagine there will be a killer opener for these shows too...maybe dino?

The Lost in Translation soundtrack turned out nicely, I thought.

hnibos 05-07-2008 07:31 PM

i would give my left nut to be able to see one of these shows.

avsfan7733 05-07-2008 07:34 PM

yeah, i agree. i was pretty close to just buying 4 tickets and hotel without thinking when the atp tickets were a bit cheaper. i kinda of hate the idea of new york and staying in a crappy ass hotel though. the small venue size is just...awesome though. and all the bands they added to atp ny... yo la tengo! so yeah. i really regret not just buying tickets for it.

People are saying Mogwai.

Boycott Graceland 05-08-2008 01:45 AM

oh good, another band i loved while growing up is half-assedly reuniting to cash in on the festival circuit
